Fisher had one request for Harrison Ford

ABC News recently unearthed an interview with Rebel Force Radio podcast from April 2010. In the interview, the late actress Carrie Fisher talked about a very specific way she'd like to be remembered. It involves the Academy Awards, the In Memoriam segment, her "Star Wars" co-star Harrison Ford, and wookiees... yes, you read that correctly.

"I saw him on Oscar night at some party," Fished said of Ford. "And I asked him - you know how they have the reel on all the people who have died? I asked him if he would be in my death reel, and if he would sing. It's just something I want."

Fisher told the hosts of the podcast that her unusual request was inspired by the 2010 Oscars tribute to writer and director John Hughes, which saw several actors from his films honor him onstage.

"Because they did that think with John Hugues, they brought out all these actors who worked with him. So, I figured they'll bring out, depending on, of course, when it happens, there's a lot of people they can bring out. He's going to sing ‘Melancholy Wookie'," Fished said.

When asked what song she would like Harrison to sing at the Academy Awards, she said:

"He's going to sing ‘Melancholy Wookiee,'" Fisher quipped in the interview, before mocking the actor's voice. "I don't think we're missing much," she said.

The truth is that Carrie Fisher never lost her sense of humor, not even she talked about her own death. "I tell my younger friends that no matter how I go, I want it reported that I drowned in moonlight, strangled by my own bra."

Her sense of humor has transcended her death. The world has been humored when the Star Wars' actress' ashes were placed in an urn shaped like a Prozac pill.

But her sense of humor was remarkable while she was alive as well. Here are some of her funniest and wisest quotes:

"If my life wasn't funny, it would just be true, and that is unacceptable." "I feel very sane about how crazy I am."

"Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die."

"I am mentally ill. I can say that. I am not ashamed of that. I survived that, I'm still surviving it, but bring it on."

"Life is a cruel, horrible joke and I am the punch line."

"Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What's important is the action. You don't have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow."

"Men don't age better than women. They're just allowed to age."

"I quote fictional characters, because I'm a fictional character myself!"

"You're not really famous until you're a Pez dispenser."

"I'm fine, but I'm bipolar. I'm on seven medications, and I take medication three times a day. This constantly puts me in touch with the illness I have. I'm never quite allowed to be free of that for a day. It's like being a diabetic."
